Panic Attack in a Crowd – Agoraphobia

Agoraphobia Add comments

I’ve been coasting along quite well with my agoraphobia – it’s been about 3 1/2 months since my last panic attack. On the weekend though I was at a music festival that took place in a community theater. It was pretty packed in the tiny theater and my seats were great – right smack in the middle. The band started to play and I suddenly felt very closed in. I looked around and every seat was taken, I began to get really hot but there wasn’t enough room to take off my sweater without hitting the person beside me. The more I thought about how warm I was getting the more panicky I felt. I couldn’t move or get out! I tried to remember the One Move TechniqueTM but my mind was too overwhelmed to think straight. Then I remembered that I had my little business card fold out stuck in my pocket from my Panic Away Bonus Package. I had made it especially for this reason – for when I am too overwhelmed or anxious to think! Before the end of the song I was beginning to cool down and my breathing was almost back to normal.

I’m so grateful for the One Move TechniqueTM because of it I was able to enjoy the rest of the show instead of leaving like I normally would. The Panic Away program has helped me so much to get my life back to normal.
